The annual friendly mixed match against Derllys Court at Tenby Golf Club was held on Friday. Eight couples represented each club and played to score the most stableford points.

The weather was like a June evening, with blue skies and sunshine, hardly any wind - most unlike the weather of late.

After 14 holes, each match came in for a lovely meal, a few drinks, and a lot of friendly banter.

The points were totted up and the home team had an easy victory, with special mention to Holly Watkins and Gavin Field Thomas (34), Heather Morgan and Roger Schooling (32), Sarah Waring and Idwal David and Sue Griffiths and Richard Noyce (31).

On the Derllys team, Jud Stevens and Chris Thompson, and Rhian Walters and Neil Evans had 29 points.

However, the results when the return match is played in Derllys Court will be a very different story… it always is!

It is hoped that this event will continue for many years.

A big thanks to all those that took part, and to Emma and Lee for looking after us after the match. It is hoped to play the return match in August.
