Tenby Golf Club has raised more than £50,000 for Welsh charities in recent seasons, thanks to the generosity, time and commitment of its members, supported by staff, visitors, local businesses and sponsors.
Charitable fundraising has long been part of life at the club, but since the return to golf after Covid, those efforts have gathered real momentum.

Each year, the Club Captain, Ladies Captain and Seniors Captain choose charities that are often close to their hearts, while the club also continues to support national organisations including the RNLI and Save the Children, alongside a range of local and community causes.
Charities to benefit in recent years include Kidney Wales, Epilepsy Wales, Alzheimer’s Society, Motor Neurone Disease Association, British Heart Foundation, RNLI, Paul Sartori Foundation and Greenacres Rescue.

Among the most recent donations were £12,500 for Alzheimer’s Forget Me Knot Society and more than £8,000 for Paul Sartori Foundation.
The Club says the total has been built through many small but meaningful acts of support, from raffle ticket sales and individual donations to members giving their time to organise events, donate prizes and encourage others to get involved.
This year, fundraising continues in the same spirit, with support for the DPJ Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society and Wales Air Ambulance. A recent fundraising day raised a magnificent £1,600 for Wales Air Ambulance alone.

Tenby Golf Club would like to thank everyone who has supported its charitable efforts over the years. Anyone wishing to support this year’s fundraising through a donation, prize contribution or sponsorship is invited to get in touch via: [email protected]
A spokesperson for the Club, located at The Burrows, alongside South Beach, added: “At Tenby Golf Club, it is this shared spirit of generosity and community that continues to make a meaningful difference.”
