TENBY Golf Club have thanked everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Ladies Open, with players from across the region enjoying great golf and good company.

The event was a wonderful celebration of golf and community spirit, made possible by the dedication of staff, members, and volunteers.
Tenby Golf Club posted: “Special appreciation goes to Barry and Andrew, our groundstaff, for presenting the course in such superb condition, and to the catering team who looked after the ladies so well throughout the day. Thanks also to the office staff for ensuring smooth administration of all entries.
“On the course, Gethyn carried out his starter duties with good humour, while Ted Buckett and Martin Spurin provided invaluable support as ball-spotters on the 4th hole. Beth managed player registration and, along with Irene, ensured the scorecards were carefully checked.
“Our ‘Golden Girls’, Mel, Liz, and Barbara ran the raffle tirelessly all day, while the half-way house team not only manned it but also prepared the wonderful food that kept competitors going.
“The biggest thanks of all go to Wyndham Collins, whose contribution was outstanding. From setting up the half-way house, to ball-spotting, to clearing everything away, his help throughout the day was invaluable.
