St. Florence Girls Under 10s entertained Camrose last Sunday. The game started off with Marlie quickly getting a couple of goals for the home team.

Camrose rarely threatened the goal, but when they, did Bella and Kate were there to calm things down and make sure Libby only had to make a few saves, which she did with ease. Tilly was constantly trying to pass the ball and trying to split their defence.

The game opened up and St. Florence put the foot on the gas, with more goals from Hettie, Neve and Holly.

Camrose scored a couple of goals, despite Martha pulling off some excellent saves, but St. Florence seemed to go into fifth gear, with a cracking solo goal from Libby and Hettie adding the last couple with some quality finishing.

A mention must go to Zoe... how the ball didn’t cross the line after hitting the post about three times remains a mystery!
