With Storm Ciara hitting the UK on Sunday, it was fortunate that most of the fixtures were able to go ahead the day before the storm.

In what was probably the result of the day, Carew hit double figures for the second time in as many weeks.

They smashed Neyland 11-1 to put themselves in real contention for the Division One title.

With not long to go until the end of the season, Carew are now three points behind the new league leaders Hakin United.

Scott Ferney scored an incredible six goals, Fraser Findlay added to the scoreline with a brace.

Goals from Alex Bailey, Sonny Phillips and an own goal completed the scoring.

Nothing could separate the teams fighting relegation in the basement battle between Saundersfoot Sports and St. Clears.

The match ended 2-2, with the home side finally earning their first point of the season.

Adam Davidson scored a brace for Saundersfoot Sports, while William Evans and Danny Peters were on the scoresheet for St. Clears.

Narberth’s game against Fishguard Sports was called off due to the poor weather.

There was a dramatic finish in the Second Division Cup between Kilgetty and Hundleton.

The match had ended goalless in normal time, meaning another half-an-hour of play.

But an unfortunate own goal from a Hundleton player was enough to see Kilgetty go through to the third round of the competition.

In Division Two itself, there was a thriller in the match between Broad Haven and Lawrenny.

The game ended 8-5 in favour of the home side, but it must have provided great entertainment for both sets of supporters.

Moving on to Division Three and it was a great day for Carew II who smashed bottom of the table Letterston.

The home side showed their quality throughout the match, putting seven goals past their hapless opponents.

Dario Rossi led the way by scoring a brace for his side.

Goals from Sam Harts, Sam Lewis, Sam Goodwin, Harvey Langstone and Shaun Lewis completed the scoring.

There was also a terrific game between Pembroke Boro and Haverfordwest CC.

The game eventually finished 5-3 to Haverfordwest CC, but the Boro will be encouraged after putting in improved performances in recent weeks.

One player who went home happy was Phil John who bagged himself a hat-trick for Pembroke.

Tenby continued to put pressure on league leaders Broad Haven II with a 2-1 win over Milford United II.

James Bridges and Mike Ryder proved to be the difference on Saturday.

With just four points between Broad Haven II and Tenby, the race for the Division Four title will be going to the wire.

In the Fifth Division Cup, Saundersfoot Sports’ quest for silverware continued after they beat Lawrenny II.

After making the trip west over the Ridgeway, it was Saundersfoot Sports who came out on top, winning by two goals to one.

Goals from Nathan Owen and Nathan Farmiloe sent their side into the third round of the competition.

However, the other tie that was due to be played on Saturday between Carew III and Johnston II was postponed after the visitors failed to field a side.

Finally, in Division Five it was a miserable day at the office for Angle as they lost 4-1 at Hundleton II.

While Kilgetty II are likely to face a points deduction after they failed to field a side in their match with Herbrandston II.WWFA Intermediate Cup Fourth RoundHakin United v Goodwick UnitedDivision OneCarew v Fishguard SportsMonkton Swifts v Clarbeston RoadNeyland v St ClearsPennar Robins v Merlins BridgeSaundersfoot Sports v NarberthSecond Division Cup Second Round 1:45pm Kick offJohnston v Hakin United IIPennar Robins II v Broad HavenDivision TwoHundleton v HerbrandstonLawrenny v KilgettyMerlins Bridge II v Milford UnitedSt Ishmaels v SolvaThird Division Cup Second Round 1:45pm Kick offFishguard Sports II v Milford AthleticDivision ThreeClarbeston Road II v Monkton Swifts IICosheston AFC v Haverfordwest CCGoodwick United II v Carew IILetterston v CamrosePendine v Pembroke BoroFourth Division Cup Second Round 1:45pm Kick offMilford United II v St FlorenceDivision FourBroad Haven II v St Ishmaels IICamrose II v Neyland IIHaverfordwest CC II v Narberth IISolva II v TenbySt Clears II v Pennar Robins IIIFifth Division Cup Second Round 1:45pm Kick offMilford Athletic II v Hundleton IIPembroke Boro II v Herbrandston IIDivision FiveCarew III v Lawrenny IIKilgetty II v Johnston IINewport Tigers v Saundersfoot Sports II
