Dylan Rees, age 18, from Tenby (seen left) has been offered a professional football contract with Cardiff City FC following eight years with the academy.
Dylan's footballing life started with Tenby AFC along wih Ysgol Greenhill's School team, Pembrokeshire county, Cardiff development and into the a academy aged just 10-years-old.
After approximately 35,000 miles of mum and dad driving to Cardiff to take Dylan training after school and latterly staying up for a combination of training and education days, Dylan was offered a scholarship at age 16 when he moved to Cardiff to live three days after finishing his GCSEs.
Dylan adjusted very well to the city life and thrived in the football world.
Every step of the way, he didn't complain, just wanted more and more football.
Dad Nicky, mum Alex, sister Chelsea and all the family are so proud of Dylan.
A huge amount of dedication and commitment has been needed living so far away, and not only to football, but his education where he achieved 12 GCSEs and has just completed Btec qualifications equating to two A-Levels, as well as his level two coaching badge.
