Andrew Price, G. D. Harries, FBM Holidays and Molson Coors sponsored Tenby Utd, carried their fine league form into the Swalec Plate on the weekend, with an away win against Llanbydder.

Centre Greg Lees Griffiths scored the first try against a strong wind, with outside half Jonathan Rogers converting. Llanybydder kicked two penalties for scrum infringements and then scored a try just before half-time, to put them 11-7 up.

The Seasiders kept it tight within their powerful forwards after the break with Roy Osborn, Geoff Martin, Pat Roberts and Sam Smith putting in very strong performances.

Rogers and fullback Aled Bowen kept kicking the ball behind Llanybydder, pinning them in their half, and No 8 Sam Smith grabbed two good tries, before winger Simon Stanford added a lovely try out wide after good pick and drive from forwards.

Aled Bowen then scored a cracking try following a class move through the backs.

Lees Griffiths and centre partner Dai Meyrick were defensively strong throughout and Rogers kicked well, ensuring that the Seasiders progressed with a 30-17.
