Tenby Golf Club's Children's Christmas Party was very well attended and was thoroughly enjoyed by all those present.

Grace Taylor and Rhys Grigg won the very competitive chipping and putting contest.

Throughout the year, there are several Junior competitions and the trophies for these were awarded by Junior organiser, Nick Allen. Winners included Archie Hughes, Rhys Grigg, Bethan Morris, Seren Allen, Lucy Anthony and Nel Allen.

Throughout 2014, many local youngsters have participated in the West Coast Academy Junior Golf Coaching Programme organised by Tenby GC's two professionals, Rhys Harry and Tom Hilling, both highly qualified and very well respected golf coaches.

All the up-and-coming golfers are now members of Tenby GC and were awarded with their certificates.

The 2015 Coaching Programme will be commenced shortly. There are currently a few vacancies remaining. In order to register their children, parents should contact Rhys or Tom on 01834 844447.

One of the highlights of a memorable afternoon was the visit of Santa. Unfortunately, his sleigh crashed near the sixth hole, but none of the reindeers or elves were badly hurt!

Whilst the sleigh was being repaired, Santa arrived at the clubhouse in a buggy to ensure that all the children received their eagerly awaited presents in his grotto.

Accompanied by one of the biggest elves ever seen in Tenby and despite the rain, Santa then returned to Lapland.
