Both the men’s and ladies sections have held meetings to decide on their captains and selectors for the forthcoming outdoor season.

The Saundersfoot men’s team in the first division of the Pembrokeshire County Bowling Association League will again be captained by Berwyn Dennis, with Graham Hughes and Dai Davies as fellow selectors, while the St. Issell’s second division boys will have Alan Rich as captain and Ken James, Mike Carr and Paul Sneyd selectors.

The St. Brides team in the Meyrick Owen competition will be looked after by Bob Storey and Peter Guyett.

The main club captain for friendlies will again be Graham Hughes.

On the ladies side, the overall captain will be Val James, who will also captain Saundersfoot in the West Wales Ladies League, with selectors Diane Disney and Joyce Howe.

The St. Issell’s team will be captained by Christine Harris, with fellow selectors being Lynne Reyed and Shirley Cox.

The fixture list has been completed and the bowling green will officially open at 2 pm on Saturday, April 7, although hopefully the weather will be a bit warmer by then!
