Congratulations to Alan Holt, of Bumper to Bumper (KMF) Kilgetty, on winning his second KMF Championship Cup. This local competition was the brainwave of John Harries, KMF's area sales representative, and started in 2011 when Swansea City were promoted to the Premiership. The competition is for a staff member to pick their favourite team in the Championship League, and the winner will be presented with the KMF Championship Cup, which is purchased by all participating parties. In 2012, the Championship winner was delivery driver Mark Kingaby (formerly of Tenby Autoparts) whose team choice was West Ham, and of course last year our winner was Ken Gough (manager) when the second Welsh team, Cardiff, was promoted to the Premiership. This year, as Alan was unable to choose Swansea City (as they remain in the premiership) his chosen team, due to the close connection with A1 Motor Stores, was Leicester City. So what of next year, will he win the treble with his new choice Fulham, or will Cardiff City give Ken his second win? Watch this space!

Pictured presenting the winning cup to Alan is John Harries, who’s hoping for a win next year with his chosen club Leeds.
