TENBY Writers' Circle are staging an open writing competition for short stories and poems.
There will be three awards each for prose and poetry, with a top prize of £50.
In addition, there is also a second prize of £25 and third prize of £10.
The judges are poet/author Kenneth Steven, who will be visiting Tenby Arts Festival, Greenhill School English teacher and tutor for adult education Lindsay Radion and Maggie Trevett-Evans, associate tutor at Swansea University with the department of adult continuing education.
The entry fee is £3 for one poem/story or £5 for two poems/stories.
Official entry forms and rules are available from Art Matters in South Parade, Tenby, Tenby Bookshop, Tenby Museum, Pembroke Bookshop, Pembroke Library, Tenby Library and Pembroke Dock Library.
The closing date is August 20 and entries can be posted to Audrey Petersen, 36 Parklands, St. Florence.
