Would you like to live next to an active military facility in the gorgeous Pembrokeshire National Park?
If the answer is ‘yes’, then Fine and Country have just the property for you.
Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with beautiful surroundings, ....... is also right next to a Ministry of Defence range and the owners have some interesting stories to tell!
Amanda Kersey said: “We are lucky enough to be surrounded by unspoiled, beautiful conservation area, we live within Pembrokeshire National Parks and located on Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
“We are situated next door to the Castlemartin spectator area, where people go and view live firing, see trailers, shamolies and all MoD movement. If the wind is blowing in the right direction, we can also hear tanks firing and guns at certain times of the year.
“When we first moved in the house before we had renovated, we heard what we could only imagine to be like thunder and lightning. When we looked outside to the rear of our property, we saw several Chinooks fly over our house and lots of armed MoD trail down the side onto the training ground.”
A characterful detached seven-bedroomed property in a lovely coastal location within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with a rich heritage dating back to 1802 when it was the local school. Over the years it has seen use as a public house, ballroom and in 1969 became a residence and art gallery to well-known artist and sculptor Arthur Giardelli.
