New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 11 of Carmarthenshire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: McDonald's at Tesco Car Park, Ffordd William Walker, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire; rated on December 9

• Rated 5: Subway at 10 Wind Street, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire; rated on December 8

• Rated 5: Natalie Cake World at 25 Hafod Cwnin, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire; rated on December 1

• Rated 5: Starbucks at Heol Nantyreos, Cross Hands, Llanelli; rated on November 26
