Last week, the South Pembs County Pool team, represented by the Narberth League, travelled to Carmarthen expecting a tough game. They got off to a good start, leading after the first two sessions by 11 frames to 7. They lost the next session 5-4, but then took the first two frames in the last session to go 17-12 up, needing only two out of seven games to take the match. That's when the bubble burst, losing the next five, and with the last two frames shared, a draw was once again the outcome, missing out on the chance to go top. Well done to Aron Keane and Will Vallance, who both won four out of four. Other results saw a good win for Haverfordwest over leaders Port Talbot, and a big win for Newtown over Vale of Glamorgan. The points difference between top and bottom is now only 10 points, with all the teams in with a chance of promotion.
