Tributes have been paid following the passing of one of Narberth’s former Mayors - Suzanne Radford Smith.

Narberth Town Council said it was saddened to learn of the passing of their former colleague, aged 68.

“Suzanne served as a long-standing member of Narberth Town Council and held the office of Mayor on more than one occasion, including during 2008–09 and again in 2012,” said a spokesperson for the Town Council.

“During her time in public service she represented the town with commitment and undertook civic duties on behalf of the community.

“The Council extends its sincere condolences to Suzanne’s family and friends at this difficult time.”

A mark of respect will be observed at the next meeting of the Town Council.
