Pictured are six talented Pembrokeshire cricketers who received their Welsh caps at the inaugural presentation lunch at the SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff, on Saturday, December 6.

The event, organised by Geoff Holmes (Wales cricket development officer), was a huge success, with just under 400 in attendance, with each player allowed two guests.

The manager and coaches of each age group outlined the highlights of the season. Matthew Maynard (director of cricket) presented caps to the boys.

The key disciplines of batting and bowling were covered, with a special emphasis on fielding and fitness in today's modern game. The team spirit and discipline had been excellent at every age group, with the standards improving year on year.

All the boys and parents had a marvellous afternoon, with special mention being made of Andrew Salter, who has been selected to captain England.
