Cwm Arian is supporting local communities across Pembrokeshire with a monthly donation of £200 to local groups and organisations. Since April 2022, the fund has helped projects ranging from youth sports teams and schools to cultural events and community initiatives.

The funding can be used in any way that benefits the community. In Hermon, for example, it has helped provide hot meals and a welcoming space for older residents through the Warm Rooms project.

In Crymych, football and rugby clubs have used their grants to run training sessions, organise matches, and give young people a chance to develop skills and enjoy sport.

Cultural groups and festivals have also used the funding to run events, workshops, and performances that bring the community together.

Anyone with a local project or community initiative can apply for the fund. Applications and guidance on eligibility are available on the Cwm Arian website. By making these donations open to all, Cwm Arian aims to make it easy for local groups to access support and keep our communities active, vibrant, and connected.

Cwm Arian is a Community Benefit Society based in West Wales, dedicated to supporting local projects while generating clean, renewable energy.

Through initiatives such as the Community Donations programme, Cwm Arian reinvests in the communities where it operates, supporting social, cultural, and educational projects across Pembrokeshire.
