President of the Welsh Bowling Association, Mr. Gerard Thomas, a member of Pembroke Dock Bowling Club, recently handed over £1,168 to the Air Ambulance Wales. The money was raised through donations of match fees received from 16 friendly president games played and donations received from bowling clubs in the WBA area. Tom Archer (Wales Air Ambulance paramedic) and Rhian Bellamy (air ambulance volunteer) received the money on behalf of the Wales Air Ambulance. On receiving the cheque, the air ambulance was called out to an emergency putting the money just received into good use.
