The thriving red squirrel colony on Caldey Island has received more sponsors for the top grade nuts that they feed on.
Caldey is very grateful to their most recent sponsors, as not only is the island contributing to the welfare of red squirrels, which are one of the most endangered animals in the UK, but the project is also enabling a wide range of visitors to see the red squirrels when they visit.
Thanks to Desta Henry and her mum, Chris, from Tenby’s newest popular wine bar, Westgate House, on the South Parade.
Thanks also to Mark Badham, manager of Tenby’s busy branch of LBS Builders’ Merchants.
The Pet Shop in the market in Tenby is also continuing to sponsor Caldey’s squirrels for another year. Diane and Stanley Richards’ generosity is much appreciated.
Caldey is grateful to all its sponsors in this project, both past and present.
If any other individual or business is interested in sponsoring the Caldey squirrels, please get in touch via a Facebook message or call 01834 844453.
