The Gower Hotel, Saundersfoot, was the venue for the January meeting of the Tenby Visually Impaired People Group, which was in fact a rather belated Christmas lunch.
Just over 20 members and friends enjoyed a delicious meal in convivial company, although there had been several last minute cancellations due to illness.
Chairman, John Webb, welcomed everyone, including guests from Tenby Inner Wheel and Saundersfoot Rotary Club.
Following the meal, flowers were presented to Margaret Walker and Betty Gordon in recognition of all their hard work in arranging the lunch and throughout the year, and thanks was expressed to them and to the staff at the Gower Hotel.
The raffle meant four people went home with prizes, Brian Walker, Gillian Aidie, Ellen Jones and Betty Gordon.
Tenby Inner Wheel then presented the group with a generous donation of £100, and everyone agreed it had been a most enjoyable afternoon.
The next meeting will be on February 17 and will be the group's AGM, and if any visually impaired person in the locality would like to attend the monthly meetings, please contact Margaret Walker on 843464.
