Following another act of vandalism, public toilets situated alongside Tenby’s multi-storey car park have been closed for repairs after a gang of youths caused damage.

“I have to inform you that this afternoon (April 7) the men’s toilets at Tenby multi-storey have been vandalised – a gang of youths have damaged the turnstile,” stated Marc Owen, Pembrokeshire County Council’s public realm manager, in correspondence to local county councillors

“We have had to close the male toilet this evening to get repairs undertaken. Male’s can still use the disabled toilet.

“I appreciate this will cause some inconvenience, however, this was out of our hands. We have reported the incident to the Police.

“This is they second toilet now vandalised in Tenby,” he added.
