The Seasiders' visit to Llandeilo proved very fruitful on Saturday, as they came out winners on a ground that was very heavy underfoot, but kept dry due to the weather. After Tenby kicked-off, the home side could not gather clean possession, with the visitors managing to move the ball across the line from a scrum, with centre Dan Shooter spotting a gap through the Llandeilo defence to cross the line for the Seasiders to open the scoring, with Neil Powling adding the conversion. The home side hit back, though, with two penalties from outside-half Arwel Davies, only to see their opponents grab a second try with a brilliant solo effort from scrum-half Andrew Davies. Davies added a third penalty for Llandeilo before the break, but Tenby had not finished scoring themselves, as number eight Anthony Griffiths drove forward for a try, which Powling converted. The second half began with the Tenby pack gathering the ball from the kick-off, with the front row of Scott Payne, Mike Lewis and Mark Badham driving forward and second row men Chris James and Wyndham Williams winning good ball in the linesout. All this pressure led to the Seasiders' next try when Harry Bolton's tackle on a Llandeilo player in possession caused him to spill the ball, allowing Davies to kick the ball on for fullback Alex Watt to run onto and grab his side's fourth touchdown, which Powling duly converted. Llandeilo managed another penalty soon after, but Tenby completed the day's scoring when South African winger Adele Davids made a break from the halfway line to cross for a try, to give the Seasiders a well deserved 29-12 victory, which captain Nicky Allen and coaches Gareth Thomas and Phil Sutton were delighted with. Tenby United team: Alex Watt, Adele Davids, Mark Heywood (Paul Luger), Dan Shooter, Dai Merrick, Neil Powling, Andrew Davies, Mark Badham (Mark Brace), Mike Lewis, Scott Payne, Chris James, Wyndham Williams (Paul Broadhurst), Harry Bolton, Nicky Allen, Anthony Griffiths.
