Flying high this festive season is Mrs. Carol Williams who has had an early Christmas present thanks to a fund-raising event organised by Tenby AFC.
Mrs. Williams, of Marsh Road, Tenby, won a portable colour television after her balloon travelled the furthest distance in the club's recent balloon race.
There has also been a Christmas bonus for Zoe Harte, who wins £25 for sending the ticket back to the club from Nottingham.
Both prizes were generously donated by local businessman, Roland Hilling, while the balloons, helium gas and name tags were given by Woolworths.
The balloon race raised a total of £531 for the club, which Woolworths rounded up to £600.
