The first meeting of the New Year had quite a party atmosphere when, after the short business meeting, all took part in a very entertaining quiz organised by chairman Rosemary John; the answers to all the questions being breeds of dog.
There were some very peculiar answers to some very peculiar questions, some of which were rather like clues to cryptic crosswords. The winning table consisted of Pauline Allen, Joan Osborne, Gill Dashfield and Maureen Webb.
At the end of the afternoon, delightful refreshments were served, provided by Rosemary.
The team taking part in the quiz at the Bowling Club in support of the Guides and Brownies comprised Valerie Cochlin, Rosemary John, Pauline Allen and Joy Griffiths, who were delighted to find themselves in second place.
The next big Federation event will be on Thursday, May 21, when Tenby Guild will be taking part in the Drama Festival at Burry Port. This will be discussed at the next meeting on Thursday, February 5, when the guest speaker will be Mrs. Sue Baldwin, who will be telling something of the history of the Tudor Merchant's House and which promises to be a most interesting afternoon.
