With over 100 miles to cycle in around 12 hours, it's sure to prove thirsty work for a group of fund- raising cyclists from Tenby as they travel from Wales' capital city back to their home town. Luckily though, a pint or few will no doubt be served on their return to celebrate their achievement, as the charity riders hail from Lower Frog Street's Crown Inn. Locals Gary Cunningham, Vaughan Campbell, Wayne Attewell, Nigel Davies, Darren Bateman, Chris Monks, Andrew Milward and Peter Roderick will be joined by fellow fund-raisers from Cardiff, when they set off from the city on Saturday, May 13, at around 8 am. Having taken up the challenge last year when they raised over £400 for the Autistic Unit in Pembroke Dock, this time the local cyclists will be raising money for Ty Hafan Children's Hospice. Anyone wishing to sponsor them or give a donation for this year's charity ride can do so by calling in at the Crown Inn.
