A 'Think Pink' fun day has been held at the Cancer Research UK shop in Tudor Square, Tenby. Among the activities held on the day was a pink nailbar, for which Boots, Tenby, donated all the nail colours. Tea and cakes were also kindly donated by Tesco, Tenby, while there was a prize raffle for a large hamper of new gifts, all kindly donated by local businesses in Tenby. As a result, a total of £127.04 was raised.
The second fun day was held by D. Fecci & Sons, fish and chip bar in Lower Frog Street, Tenby. The staff all dressed in pink, sold Cancer Research UK pin badges, did a street collection, and held a raffle - prizes included a meal for two, a case of wine and a box of chocolates. A total of of £500.47 was raised, and a huge thank you goes to the staff and customers at D.Fecci & Sons for raising such a huge amount of money for such a good cause.
Cancer Research UK Tenby is currently also looking for donations of evening wear, shoes and accessories in preparation for the upcoming party season. All donations received make a huge difference to the charity and help with their ongoing work.
