Sir,
In reply to the letter in the Tenby Observer on Friday, September 19, I have lived adjacent to St. Georges Street for many years.
As we all know, Tenby is a very busy resort with a large volume of holidaymakers, as well as those celebrating office parties, stag, golf, promotion, hen parties, rugby, football teams and so on.
It goes without saying that, due to the law of averages, no matter where you live, towns, cities, villages, there will be problems now and again, and Tenby is no different.
The same number of people making the same noise hit the Square as well, the difference being that St. Georges Street is a lot narrower, with high-sided buildings and is one of the main access routes in and out of Tenby centre via the Five Arches.
Daniel Leighton,
Tenby.
