The Inner Wheel Club of Tenby met at the Fourcroft Hotel on Monday, September 10.

President Meryl welcomed everyone back to the new autumn session. She accepted apologies from members unable to attend and sent best wishes from the club to June Hodder, who has a broken ankle, for a speedy recovery.

Previous minutes and business followed. There was a long agenda of past and future events discussed. There were thanks to the club for donations from Ty Hafan, the Scout and Guide Hall, Cancer Research Wales and Lee Mottram. There were several invites to social events from other clubs in the area.

The winner of the Balloon Race, which members organised during the two Summer Spectacular evenings, was a young child, Elenor Hill from Leicestershire. The balloon had travelled as far as Penrith in Cumbria and was found by Mr. Alex Parkin.

Marnie had held a table-top sale in August and raised £65 for the Overseas Fund. She was duly thanked by Meryl.

The next meeting will be at 6.30 pm on Monday, October 8, at the Fourcroft. A buffet supper will be served and guest for the evening is the new District chairman, Ann Williams. The supper will cost £8. Members who do not wish to partake are reminded that the normal meeting commences at 7.30 pm.
