The November meeting of the Tenby Visually Impaired People Group, held at the Avenue Centre, Tenby, was very well attended. Following the welcome from chairman, John Webb, the role call was taken, and everyone was pleased to note that president, Jim Hatcher was able to attend, and a warm welcome was extended to new member, Jill Edwards. Project worker for the visually impaired, Elly Morgan, recounted details of her stay in Mongolia a few years ago, and gave an update on how things were progressing. Welcome refreshments were served and the raffle drawn. Details were also given that the December meeting which would be on Tuesday, December 11, would be a celebration of Christmas with carols and readings. After a very enjoyable afternoon, members made their way home looking forward to the next time they would all meet. If any visually impaired person would like to join the group, please contact the secretary, Margaret Walker, on 843464.
