FROM its birth in October 2000, our free sister paper, the Tenby Times, has been inspired by the photographs and memories supplied by the people of Tenby.

So many of you tell us how much you enjoy sharing these memories in our monthly publication that we have realised a more long-lasting selection, in book format, would be appreciated.

So, following in the footsteps of 'The Beano' and 'Rupert', this month has seen the launch of the first 'Tenby Times Annual' - we hope you enjoy it Published by the Tenby Observer, production of the book would not have been possible without the endless enthusiasm and detective work of Tenby Times co-ordinator Patrick Ovenden and researcher Carolyn Cox, who are seen here with Observer editor, Neil Dickinson (left).

Already the book is proving popular and selling well. It is available at a number of local book-shops and outlets, as well as our own offices at Tindle House, Warren Street, Tenby. Make sure you get your copy now. Retailing at £3.50, it makes an ideal Christmas stocking filler.
