A Tenby student has danced her way to becoming a world champion!

Imi Scourfield a pupil at Tenby’s Greenhill School danced at the UDO Worlds 2023 in August which saw competitors from over 35 countries world wide take part in the event held in Blackpool

Imi became a world champion in her category ‘Under 18s Novice’.

The UDO World Street Dance Championships is the height of the annual Street Dance and Hip Hop dance competition calendar. This vibrant four-day event is one of the most prestigious dance competitions of them all in this field.

“This is wonderful news about Imi’s fantastic success. We are all very proud of her achievements at Greenhill and we are delighted that she has returned to the sixth form where she will be an inspirational role model for others,” said head teacher David Haynes.
