No sailing last Wednesday, due to the club hosting the Merlin Rockets National Championship. The week was very successful indeed, with all competition and supporters agreeing that Tenby put on a great show. Many thanks to all who contributed to the success of the week. There will be a full report plus pictures in next week's edition.
Sunday was back to normal, with Rolly Squibbs acting as race officer. The enthusiastic turnout appreciated the course set by Rolly, with the Redwings again dominating.
They must have been a little concerned when, after one round, Tommy D'Ortez, in a Laser, was lying third, but was eventually overtaken by the end of the second lap.
The final 1-2-3 was: 1. Mike Stace and Deanna Morton in a Redwing; 2. Bill Dowell and Emma and Paul in a Redwing; 3. Dave Bowen and Helen Williams in a Redwing
Well done, Redwings! Bill Dowell's regular crew, Nan D'Ortez, is recovering after a serious accident. The club wishes her a speedy recovery.
Finally, many thanks to Vortex for standing in for me last week.
