An evening of certificate presentations was held by Tenby's Royal British Legion branch at the town's Hazelwell Club on July 10.

They were presented by Tenby RBL chairman, Chris Morris, and Gordon Prime, the president.

Certificates were awarded for outstanding commitment and devotion to Tenby RBL, throughout the Poppy Appeal for the 90th year in 2012, to SCWO Gareth Folder, Cdt Sgt David Folder, Able Cdt Luke Richards, Ordinary Cdt Max Brewster and Lt. Roy Broxham.

Certificates were also given to the following who were unable to attend - Owen Davies, Charles Tattersel, Jake Davies, Hugh Rollins and Tina Clements.

For exemplary commitment and devotion to the Tenby branch of the RBL and many hours dedicated to carrying the RBL standard, certificates were given to - Gareth Folder and David Folder, and to Aimee Lewis, Amy Dattke and Jess Dattke, who were unable to attend.

Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, was also awarded a certificate for organising the Poppy Appeal collection in Tenby for the last five years, along with Margaret Brown and Ann Barton, who were given certificates too.

The evening was also attended by Veterans Gerry Price (Royal Navy Russian Convoy), Doug Perry (Leading Aircraft Officer) and RBL member Lt Cdr Keith Peachy, Shirley Goldsworthy, Mrs. Ross Morris, chairman's wife, and Dennis Goldsworthy, RBL ex-standard bearer.
