Tenby fell silent at 11 am yesterday (Thursday) as the town marked Amistice Day by remembering those who had given their lives in two world wars and more recent conflicts. Leading the two-minute silence at the war memorial was president of the town's Royal British Legion, Wilf Hardy. Among those accompanying him were the Rector, Canon David Jenkins, and standard bearer, Kevin Taylor. A further service of remembrance will be held on Sunday.
