The excellent sum of £5,807 has been banked to date as a result of the 2008 Poppy Appeal in Tenby and District - over £800 more than collected during the 2007 appeal.
"I would like to thank everyone who helped with the appeal," said Tenby and District organiser, town Mayor, Clr. Sue Lane. "Every penny really does count, so once again thank you all very much."
