A Tenby nursing home is taking part in the exciting and ground breaking all-Wales project, called 'My Home Life Wales' which will benefit care home residents, relatives and staff.

Park House Court Nursing Home is pleased to be involved in the 'My Home Life Wales' programme, which has the aim of improving the lives of people in care homes.

The merged charity Age Concern Cymru and Help the Aged in Wales is running 'My Home Life Wales'; with funding from the Welsh Assembly Government's Health Challenge Wales initiative.

Programme manager John Moore explained: "My Home Life Wales will work with care home residents, their relatives and staff to identify and share ideas that will make life better for people who live in, visit or work in care homes across Wales.

"We are very pleased to be working with Park House Court on this exiting project, as we know that it can be the very simple and straightforward ideas as well as the complex innovations that can improve people's day to day lives."

Tony Sawyer, of Park House Court, said: "We are very pleased to be working with the 'My Home Life Wales' programme, sharing our ideas as to how we make life special for our residents.

"Park House Court prides itself on creating an environment where the residents can really feel at home: with the relatives knowing that their family members receive the best care available."
