Following the success over the last few years, Greenhill Secondary, Tenby Junior and Tenby Infants School will be cycling the roads of Tenby on Thursday, May 10, in a bid to continue to raise the profile of cycling as a healthy and sustainable way of getting to school.

Tenby Aces will be joining the 300-plus children, with the route starting at 2 pm from the junior school, cycling along Serpentine Road, up the hill and along Narberth Road, into Tudor Square, down past the golf club, where the junior school PTA group will be providing refreshments, before the pupils complete their journey back to school along Marsh Road.

The schools really appreciate the important work of so many people who make this event so successful.

PCSO Idwal David's guidance and organisation of the police support on the day; Lindy Eynon, Greenhill's facilities manager, Tenby Aces Cycling Club, Paul Smith from Pembrokeshire County Council, and Matthew Broadhurst, Tenby's harbourmaster.

If anyone is able to help with marshalling, please contact Julia Wood at Tenby Junior School.

As well as asking the people of Tenby to support and encourage the cyclists as they journey through Tenby, they would also like to warn any motorists to be aware of the cyclists on the road between 2 and 3 pm.
