Judging for Tenby in Bloom took place on Wednesday with a full busy day taking place for the floral contest.
Chairman of the organisation and Deputy Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, told her fellow councillors at a meeting of the town council on Tuesday night that it was a packed period for the town’s floral activities, with the Wales in Bloom judging due to take place on Friday, July 15, and the Britain in Bloom judges in town on August 5.
“I’d like to appeal to all businesses, shopkeepers and residents to keep the streets clean, tidy and weed-free, as all these things count towards the contests,” she said.
“We’re still going for that gold!” added Clr. Mrs. Lane.

The standard was very high and we were impressed with the floral results.
