2007 has proved a lively and productive year for the Tenby Historical Society with a series of entertaining and thought-provoking speakers and visits to Chapel Bay Fort and Cresselly House. At the last meeting, the committee was re-elected comprising: Douglas Fraser (chairman and secretary), Roland Grigg, Kevin Thomas, Neil Webb and Sandra Williams (treasurer).
The meeting also explored the contribution that the society can make to researching and disseminating the history of Tenby, illustrated by current projects. At the next meeting, Ken Daniels will talk about Pembrokeshire Postcards and Pembrokeshire Photographers, with the support of samples from his unique collection of old postcards. This will take place on Tuesday, October 2, in the Tenby Bowling Club (Sutton Street), at 7.30. Visitors and potential new members are welcome; there is a charge of £2 per person.
