Led by vice-captain, Idwal David, members of Tenby Golf Club played their annual match against Rosslare men's team at Rosslare Golf Club. The weather was fantastic all weekend and with good company and an excellent course to play, things were looking good. The Tenby team came a very creditable second to Rosslare in the match, but everyone agreed the result was secondary to the friendship and camaraderie experienced by everyone. On Sunday, the Tenby team played a stableford competition, with Dave Henry coming first with 37 points, followed by Martin Morris and John Stenson. As always, a great deal of effort goes into organising these events and our thanks go to Dave Hancock, the secretary of Tenby Golf Club, for all the hard-work he put into making the weekend very successful. We now look forward to hosting Rosslare in 2009.
