Earlier this year, Chris Beecher asked if we could hold a mixed competition between Christmas and New Year for him to support the Parkinson's Charity. So the Christmas Charity Mixed took place on Sunday, December 27, on a glorious winter's day except for the bitter wind. It was played over 14 holes to be sure everyone could get around in the light.
A time to enjoy stunning views, a course in beautiful condition and fortunately playable throughout the year - and to walk off that Xmas pudding!
The prizes for the competition were generously supplied by Chris and Carol Beecher, for which this year's ladies' captain, Mel Smith, gave a vote of thanks.
'Nearest the pin' was won by the pairing of Alan Morton and Gillian Roberts, with a very creditable 6'5", for which they won a box of Titleist balls.

Tenby operates a full calendar of mixed events and players are now looking forward to the coming season.
