Tenby Girls started their new season with matches away at Pennar.

Tenby Under 11s 0 Pennar 1

Despite playing well in a very close game, Tenby lost 1-0 from an unlucky deflected corner. Ella Furlong played well in goal in the first half and almost equalised when she came out in the second half. Jade Rowell and Ella Harley played well, with Ella H going in goal in the second half.

Dazy Lloyd made a good debut for Tenby, tackling back strongly. Safiya Rooney continued to defend well and Chloe Wilson covered a lot of ground, despite being marked by a much older, stronger player.

Tenby Under 13s 3 Pennar 0

Tenby Under 13s had plenty of the game and won 3-0. Holly Furlong scored twice and Kirsty Lewis made it three for Tenby.

Hannah Taylor was strong in defence and made several impressive runs from the back. Ella Furlong and Safiya Rooney helped the small squad out, with Safiya playing superbly in goal. Christina Smith and Jessica Webb controlled the midfield, setting up many attacks.

Tenby Under 15s 1 Pennar 4

This was a game of two halves, similar to last year's encounter. Tenby had plenty of the ball in the first half and had several scoring opportunities through Darcy Escott and Maisie John that were thwarted by a good Pennar 'keeper.

At the other end, Lori Amos made several brave saves.

With the score 0-0 at half-time, Tenby were looking good, but in the second half, they were well beaten by a much fitter Pennar side.

Sophie Izzard scored the goal of the game with a long range shot, but it was too little too late. By that time Tenby were 3-1 down and, while they were pushing forward, Pennar counter-attacked, making the final score 4-1.

Kimberly Alman and Sammy Croft put in some very good tackles and Jessica Webb worked hard in midfield
