TENBY U16 GIRLS 7 LLANDORE U16s 0

After a long lay off due to Christmas, the New Year and the recent bad weather, the Tenby girls continued their winning streak with a third successive home win.

The girls took an early lead through Becky Gwyther with a fine solo effort, while Vicky Pryer nipped in to beat the goalie to make it two.

Two more goals were scored by captain Hannah Lewis. Next came an own goal which was the result of a shot by Becky Gwyther. Hannah finished off the first half with a fine goal to claim a hat-trick.

In the second half, the defence of Ffion, Casey, Bethan, Shannon, Kirstie and Rachel kept it tight, as they usually do, having only conceded three goals this season.

The best goal of the match came from Hannah, who broke from her own half to finish off a fine solo effort.

Pictured with the girls is Peter Laugharne, who with his wife Eleanor, of Laugharne 2 Drive School of Motoring, kindly sponsored the girls with a new kit.

This week, the girls will travel to Garden Village, Swansea.
