TENBY U11s 3 MILFORD UTD U11s 0
On a grey, rainy morning, the Londis at Manorbier Stores and Post Office sponsored team welcomed their first-time visitors Milford United. Eager to start, both teams lined up for a first 10 minutes which saw both sides playing fast, attractive football, which saw neither one achieve dominance. Both goalies were called into early action and a couple of lobs from defenders went tantalisingly close - much to their surprise! The deadlock was broken towards the end of the first half when a Hugo corner was knocked back across goal by David for Jack to knock the ball into the back of the net. This goal saw a change in the balance of the game and Tenby went into the second half with renewed pace and vigour. They were rewarded by a superb, almost solo effort, from Elliot out on the right, who calmly slotted the ball home, followed shortly afterwards by a bit of Jack's magical footwork, resulting in him banging in number three. A good win and a good game for you all. The sportsmanship of both sides was admirable in a tough but fair contest. Thanks to Simon, our sponsors and supporters. Squad: George McBeth, Corey Morris, Sam Butler, Rhys Nicholas, Toby Rossiter, Tom Grover, Jack Murphy, Hugo Wellum, Tom Koop, David Webb, Daniel Fairlie, Elliot Goldsmith, Nathan Farmiloe.
TENBY U14s 4 CLARBESTON ROAD U14s 4
Tenby and Clarbeston Road showed again why there is great rivalry between them, with a thrilling game that could not be settled in the 80 minutes of play. The game started well, with both teams sounding each other out for the first 10 minutes, and showing some great attacking movements from the wings. Tenby opened the scoring after 15 minutes, but Clarby fought back immediately to equalise. The game was played at such pace in the first half, it was difficult to see which team would give first. With some spirited defensive work from both sides, it was left to the Tenby midfielders to create another two goals, to go in at half-time with a 3-1 advantage. At the start of the second half, Clarby caught Tenby napping with two quick goals to level the score. After this, the game became very tense as both teams had further chances, with Tenby managing to get on the score-sheet again. This did not deter Clarby and they fought back to equalise yet again. The game was played with great spirit, which is something you get when the Seasiders play Clarby - well done to all for a thrilling game of football. Tenby squad, incl subs: Luke Hamilton, Yanto Griffiths, Tom Powell, Lloyd Thomas, Billie Davies, Joe Richards, Alex Harley (capt.), Callum Proctor, Rhys Hewson, Tom Nicholas, Lewis Davies, Daryl Mansbridge, Ross Gray, Tom Baker. Thanks to Charles and Remmi for coaching the boys.
TENBY U16s 5 PENNAR ROBINS U16s 1
Tenby's greater ability to quickly find their front players with accurate passes was decisive against a well-organised Pennar side. The home side started well compared with their performance the previous week against Hakin, and they quickly found their confidence with a good supply of passes from Aaron Goldsmith and Billy Vaughan, who competed well in the middle of the pitch. A long pass from deep on the right from Billy Vaughan sent Mikey Boswell through and he pushed the ball past the visiting goalkeeper for a good opener after 10 minutes. Pennar fought back immediately and they equalised with a header from the edge of the penalty area, in which there was poor marking, to give Richard Thomas no chance. Tenby responded well to the equaliser, and benefited from the excellent play on their left, where the tenacious Kurt Walsh supplied Adam Johns with a succession of passes for Adam to give the Pennar right-back a torrid time. Pennar were completely unbalanced to cover the runs of Adam Johns and from one such move the cross from the goal-line to the far post was hammered home by Sam Christopher to give a dramatic and deserved 2-1 scoreline to the home side. Pennar fought back well and Brett Evans, Scott Helmich and Joe Scourfield held firm against the high through balls, to protect Richard Thomas, who on occasions had to rush out to clear at the edge of his penalty area. Tenby were soon on the attack in the second half, looking to increase their 2-1 lead, and Mikey Boswell converted one of several promising goal attempts with a shot which crept under the visiting goalkeeper. A 3-1 scoreline looked more healthy for a Tenby team who were not given much time to play, and Pennar responded well with some dangerous moves through the middle, and only some last ditch defending by Joe Scourfield and Scott Helmich preserved the home lead. Tenby looked confident when in possession and Pennar began to lose their shape as the runs from Adam Johns pulled them out of position, giving Sam Christopher the space to hammer his second goal between the goalkeeper and the near post. The game was not finished at 4-1, with Richard Thomas having to come out quickly to skilfully deal cleanly with some breakaway forwards, but in the counter-attacks, Aaron Goldsmith was impressive in supporting his front players, intercepting any Pennar passes to their front players and firing in a brilliant 30-yarder which missed by inches. Pennar's agony was complete when yet another run down their right by the speedy Adam Johns ended with a skidding cross which flew to an eager Rob Colley who headed in powerfully at the far post. Both goalkeepers were injured late in the game as forwards went in for the ball too enthusiastically, but the game ended well for Tenby, with their 5-1 victory being a good return for a much more focused and disciplined performance, in which all the players played an important part. Tenby squad: Richard Thomas, Scott Helmich, Brett Evans, Joe Scourfield, Kurt Walsh, Sam Christopher, Billy Vaughan, Aaron Goldsmith, Adam Johns, Rob Colley, Mikey Boswell, Michael Halligan, Toby Smith, James Howells. Tenby Picnic Basket player-of-the-match: Aaron Goldsmith. Thanks to Jack Christopher for refereeing and to Nick Johns for running the line. GIRLS FOOTBALL

Tenby U10s played a young Neyland side. Midway through the first half, Lois Horsley put Tenby 2-0 ahead. Holly Furling scored a hat-trick in the second half as Tenby imposed themselves. All the girls played well, with the defence having a solid game. In their second game, Tenby played Monkton. They started well, but at first could not score, with Lois hitting the post three times. Then the breakthrough came, Lois, Becky Gwyther (2) and Holly (3) all scored, with Monkton pulling one back near the end. Beth Morse looked safe in goal when threatened, with Kimberly Alman playing her usual defensive role well. Becky ran well and Sarah Jackson and Alise Robinson tackled well in midfield. Squad: Beth Morse, Kimberly Alman, Lois Horsley, Becky Gwyther, Alise Robinson, Sarah Jackson, Holly Furlong. Thanks to Shara for running the side.

Pennar 0 Tenby 1. Another blustery Sunday morning saw Tenby beat a strong and well- supported Pennar side. Goalless at half-time, thanks to the stand-in 'keeper Mollie, who pulled off a few good saves, the second half saw Tenby take control. Chances fell to Nia and Sophie, with good running from Marie and Maisey, who were supported well by Kelly and Chloe. The goal came from a shot from Nia, which was only pushed out for Nia to ram home the winner. Kilgetty 0 Tenby 2. Revenge for Tenby this week as they beat local rivals Kilgetty. The Tenby girls, who were without regular 'keeper Rhiannon, used Maisey in the first half, which saw Mollie return to the heart of the defence with Kelly. The midfield was strengthened with Sophie and Nia, while up front was Chloe. The first half was goalless. Tenby came out fighting in the second half and were soon in the lead with a goal from Nia. Marie and Mollie combined well to feed Nia, who crossed for Sophie to slot home a good team goal.
