Tenby opened strongly, Jamie running through with Jack on hand to strike the ball home.
Kilgetty countered with some good interplay between Rob Colley and Robert Whitfield.
Given the difficult conditions, with hail threatening, the game flowed from end to end, Kilgetty using the strong wind to good effect. Tenby remained firm at the back, however, with Ben impressive and Ieuan and Oliver cool under pressure.
A speculative effort from Jamie Robinson saw the Kilgetty 'keeper spill the ball into the goal for Tenby's second.
Rob Colley's retort was immediate, but following a strong run down the left, he saw his shot hit the side netting.
Matt Fleming was next to threaten the Kilgetty goal - the 'keeper proving equal to the challenge, saving well.
Jack Bevan put Rob Colley through and Ashley Murdoch saved well low to his left.
This was thrilling end to end football, with skilful play from both teams.
Jamie Robinson, playing outstanding football, epitomised the endeavour, skill and work rate on show.
Kilgetty forced two corners and were unlucky not to score, Ashley Murdoch saving from point blank range, to leave the half-time score 2-0 to Tenby.
Now with the strong wind at their backs, Tenby exerted pressure on the Kilgetty goal, Damian firing over following fine touch play from David Jones.
Mark Davies also struck a low shot wide and Damian almost scored with an overhead kick, but Kilgetty were equal to the challenge.
A stunning effort from Oliver was then only half-held by the Kilgetty 'keeper and Ashley Prior, ace poacher, was on hand to stab the ball home.
Jamie Robinson gained his reward for a tireless display, banging home Tenby's fourth - this goal being sandwiched between two hail storms!
Oliver Morgan produced another commanding performance, winning tackles and spraying passes forward to his team-mates. David, Ashley and Matt Fleming worked tirelessly, with the irrepressible Mark Davies and Damian Walters strong on the ball.
David Jones finished from a corner following a clever back header from Ashley, and there was a thunderbolt from Jack for Tenby's fifth.
Ieuan and Ben were thoroughly competent and confident at the back for Tenby.
Kilgetty's heads never dropped and the team worked tirelessly for each other.
However, they met a Tenby side on top of their game, playing outstanding football, as highlighted by their sixth goal, which came following a piece of opportunism and alertness by David Jones.
David then left the field with frost-bite and Zak Prior came on as substitute.
A fine game, well refereed by Peter Thomas (thank you) and well played by both teams.
Thanks also to Bobby for putting up the nets and to Keith and Richard for taking them down.
