HERBRANDSTON U16s 1 TENBY U16s 6

Tenby Under 16s, sponsored by Willow Carpentry, completed the double over Herbrandston and remain at the top of the league.

The Seasiders played with the strong wind during the first half and were three goals to the good by the break. Declan Carroll scored the first after good work from Jason Finnegan, who teed Carroll up on the edge of the box and the striker made no mistake. Carroll was on hand for the second, when the Herbie 'keeper failed to hold on to an Ashley Andrews cross and Carroll tapped in from six yards. Carroll completed his hat-trick when he superbly headed home Andrews's corner.

Uncertainty that a three-goal lead would not be enough against the wind was quickly quashed, when Jordan Richards robbed the home side of possession and released man-of-the-match Carroll, who beat his marker and scored from an acute angle. The roles were reversed 10 minutes later when Carroll set up Richards to make it five-nil.

Herbrandston's never-say-die attitude was rewarded when an excellent long ball found their striker who fired wide of the Tenby 'keeper. But Tenby had the last word, when the increasingly confident Alex Heesom made a good run and unselfishly passed to Rob Fairlie to score.

Tenby side: J. Roberts, A. Heesom, P. Elliott, C. Hurlow, D. Edwards, A. Andrews, J. Finnegan, J. Richards, D. Carroll, W. Thomas, A. Smith, A. Roberts, R. Fairlie.

Milford U13s 0

Tenby U13s 5

Both teams competed well and Richard Tebbutt and George Wilkins passed well to Jerome Mansbridge, who completed a hat-trick. Shaun Whitfield and Robert Davies kept an eye on Milford breakaways, restricting Lewis Roberts to a couple of saves.

Milford tried to reply, but George Wilkins demonstrated Tenby's scoring potential by curling in a shot to give his side a 4-0 lead.

In the second half, Milford made Tenby defend several times, but Tenby's attacking efforts from Ellis Morgan, James Bridges, Jerome Mansbridge and Richard Tebbutt were saved. Nathan Wilson and Jacob Dent gave excellent support from deep positions as Tenby tried to increase their lead. Eventually, Elliott Rivers dribbled through the home defence to score well from close range.

Milford contributed to a good match, and Marcus Read, Luke Conbeer and Jack Tranter impressed for Tenby during the last period, making the 5-0 final scoreline an accurate reflection of the efforts of the teams.

Tenby squad: Lewis Roberts, Jacob Dent, Shaun Whitfield, Rob Davies, Nathan Wilson, Elliott Rivers, Richard Tebbutt, George Wilkins, James Bridges, Ellis Morgan, Jerome Mansbridge, Marcus Read, Luke Conbeer, Jack Tranter.

Tenby's player-of-the-game: Elliot Rivers.

Camrose U12s 1

Tenby put in another strong performance to retain maximum points at the top.

Overnight rain meant the match was moved to Manorbier and Camrose were soon to rue missed early opportunities, as Declan Escott put Tenby in front.

Charlie Gammer then cut in to score, while an exquisite through ball from Escott put in Adam John for three.

Camrose continued to play good football and pulled one back, but John soon put Tenby four up.

An unlucky deflection put Tenby five-up and Lloyd Hughes added another.

After the break, Jake Morgan, Sam Perrett, Adam Muskett and Luke Hartland looked more settled, while Scott Ferney and Spencer Williams started to tear through midfield.

A lofted cross gave Hughes an easy tap-in, while Gammer scored with a confident run and finish. Ferney swiftly added a ninth and 10th, while Tom Harries came on and linked well with Owen Coombs who enjoyed his forays upfield.

Gammer got his hat-trick and Hughes went one better with his fourth, while Escott also chipped the 'keeper in between.

Thanks to Manorbier for use of their excellent pitch, to referee Charles Davies, and to kit sponsors Park Road Fish and Chips.
