Congratulations to the team from Tenby who won the President's Cup competition at The Seabank Hotel, Porthcawl, last weekend, May 19 and 20, beating teams from Mid, North and East Wales.

This is only the second year that this competition has been run, so to win is a big boost for the club.

They were presented with a large silver cup which was proudly shown at the club on Wednesday and will be engraved to mark the event.

The team comprised Kevin Thomas and Liz Crockford, Peter Oeppen and Nicky Hancock, Irene Delahunty and Colin Steer. Very well done everyone

Wednesday, May 16 - 1, Martin and Aileen Neilan 65.42 per cent; 2. Peter Milewski and Colin Nash 59.17; 3. Ann Dassen and Barry Thorne 54.58; 4. Judy Lewis and Lucy Brooker 53.75.

Friday, May 18 - 1. Chris Overton and Angela John 70.83 per cent; 2. Marnie Owens and Brenda Harries 61.46; 3. Hywel Probert and Phillip Rogers 59.38; 4. Kevin Thomas and Doug Silcox 54.17.

Bridge is played each week at Kilgetty Community Centre, Wednesdays at 7 pm and Fridays at 6.30 pm. New members and visitors are most welcome.
