Will members and supporters please note that this month's branch meeting is tomorrow (Saturday, October 18), at St. Teilo's Church Hall at 11 am, following coffee served from 10.45 am.
Guest speaker is Nick Ainger MP, who will speak about the Labour Party conference and about various topical issues. As Nick is now a member of the finance select committee at Westminster, he will no doubt have some interesting 'inside' information.
Nick is always an articulate and knowledgeable speaker, an excellent constituency MP who has ably represented the people of South Pembrokeshire and West Carmarthenshire for over 15 years, and whose experience as a fighter for social justice led him into politics in the first place.
Non-members are welcome to come and listen to Nick whose address begins at about 11.30 am. Entry is free, though we do ask for a contribution towards the cost of hiring the church hall.
