There was an eight-table Mitchell in play on Wednesday, January 7. Results: North/South - 1. Colin Nash and Peter Milewski 62.50 per cent and a diary each; 2. Irene Delahunty and Cindy Middleton 60.42; 3. Mary and John Hodgeon 50. East/West - 1. Doug Silcox and Ray Bowen 58.33 and a diary each; 2. Gareth Jones and Wally Heaton 58.04; 3. Aileen and Martin Neilan 56.55. There were also free diaries for the bottom pair in each group who shall remain nameless!
Friday, January 9: 1. Kevin Thomas and Doug Silcox 68.75 plus a diary each (if they have not already had one!); 2. Jo Davies and Mary Jones 62.50; 3. Sue Enfield and Judy Lewis 50. The lowest pair also received a diary.
The winter internal tournament 'Teams of Four' starts next Wednesday, January 21. Check with Bert if you want to form a team. This is played over three weeks, with the best two out of three to count.
