Wales may have failed to qualify for this year's World Cup in South Africa, but Tenby AFC is getting into the spirit and bringing a little football fever home.
Tenby AFC, in partnership with the Welsh Football Trust, will be hosting a World Cup Cymru camp in the hope of finding the Welsh football stars of tomorrow.
The camp, taking place on Monday and Tuesday, July 26 and 27, at The Clicketts, Tenby, will provide an opportunity for boys and girls of all abilities to play the game in a safe, fun, learning environment.
Football Association of Wales accredited Tenby AFC follows the FAW's strict guidelines to ensure the highest levels of coaching and child safeguarding are maintained.
Organiser Angie Nicholls said: "To mark the start of the world's greatest football tournament, we are inviting players six to 11 years to come along free of charge and share in the excitement of our very own World Cup Cymru event. There will be certificates for all participants at the end of the week as well as spot prizes for those players who demonstrate good sportsmanship and fair play.
"I think it's crucial that we encourage these youngsters and nurture their talent, and, who knows, they may one day bring the World Cup to Wales!"
For further information, please contact Angie Nicholls on (01834) 845579 or 0776047450 for an application form. Please book early as places are limited. No places will be available on the day.
